How does CityITjobs work ?
CityITjobs is a Services Marketplace. Employers / Buyers can find talent to do their projects or to fill part-time positions. Employers / Buyers post the job as a project. Service Providers who wish to do the project place bids, indicating the asking price for completing the project. At the end of the bidding, Employer/Buyer can award the project to any Service Provider who bids for the project. Employers / Buyers are allowed to contact the Service Provider before awarding the project.

How much does it cost ?
It is absolutely Free for Job Seekers / Service Providers, there are no hidden costs associated — please choose the Basic plan. Service Providers can also subscribe to Premium member plan. Premium member is a featured member who will have a highlighted background for his Bid and his Bid will move to top. Employers / Buyers can search Resumes for free. Employers / Buyers can also subscribe to Gold member plan. Gold member can post up to 10 Job positions or Projects each month and can always see contact details of Job Seekers / Service Providers. I am a Service Provider - how does CityITjobs work for me ?
All services are Free for Job seekers / Service Providers (through Basic plan). Here is how CityITjobs works for Service Providers :

• Search and Bid for projects that match your expertise
• You will be intimated through email if you win the project
• Contact the Buyer and decide on the work and payment schedules your self — you are in control
• Complete the project and get paid directly from the Buyer
• Sell your services by adding a Resume (CV)
• Your Resume will be linked from the bids that you place

I am an Employer / Buyer - how does CityITjobs work for me ?
Here is how CityITjobs works for Employers / Buyers :

• Search Resumes and find an IT talent for your needs
• Post project and Service Providers from all over the world will bid to do the work
• You can manage your project from MyProjects section
• See the contact information of Service Providers by clicking the project name
• Use the contact information to get clarifications and get in touch with Service Provider
• Award the project to one of the Service Providers after you have decided on a winner
• Work with the Service Provider directly and decide on the work and payment schedules your self — you are in control
• Get the completed project and pay the Service Provider directly
• If you want to directly contact a Service Provider without posting a project simply search for Resumes
• CityITjobs offers a way to find Quality Talent from around the world for a reasonable price

How do I modify or cancel my subscription ?
Simply contact the Support team through our online Feedback Form. Let them know your UserName and your email address. All changes or cancellations of subscription plans will only be effective from the date when the current plan ends.

Service Providers

Is it really Free for Job Seekers / Service Providers or are there any hidden costs ?
Its totally FREE Job Seekers / Service Providers. No hidden costs are there. You are welcome to post Resume and bid for existing Job positions or Projects. You can even contact Employers before you decide to bid a project.

How do I Register and post a Resume ?
First you have to register and choose a subscription plan. If you only want to post Resume and bid Projects you can choose Basic plan — its totally Free. If you want to ba a featured Service Provider you can also subscribe to Premium member plan. Premium member is a featured member who will have a highlighted background for his Bid and his Bid will move to top.

What is Resume ?
Resume allows you to sell your services at CityITjobs. You can showcase your talents. It is a cheap way of reaching out to buyers from around the world. It comes with all member plans. You can update your Resume from My Resume option.

How do I add / update my Resume ?
You can manage your Resume from My Resume option. There is an update link which you can use to manage your entry.

How can I bid for a project ?
Click the project name, enter your bid details, confirm the bid. Thats it. You can see the list of project by choosing the Bid for Projects option in the top menu. If you want to ba a featured Service Provider you can also subscribe to Premium member plan. Premium member is a featured member who will have a highlighted background for his Bid and his Bid will move to top.

How do I know if I win the Project ?
You will receive an email if you win the project. You have to accept the project.

Is there a Transaction fee for projects which I accept ?
No, there is not any transaction fees for projects that you win and accept.

How will Buyer contact me ?
Buyers will contact you in two ways.

1. If bid for projects then your contact email is available to the Buyer. Buyers are allowed to contact you to get clarifications before awarding the project.
2. Buyers can also contact you through your Resume. We suggest you setup your Resume as it increases your chances of being found — Service Stores can be searched using the Search feature.

How will I get paid ?
All payments will have to be handled directly with the Buyers. You are responsible for all payments that you receive and CityITjobs is not responsible for any actual transactions that take place between you and the Buyer.

Employers / Buyers

How do I post my project ?

To post a Project you should subscribe to Gold member plan. Gold member can post up to 10 Job positions or Projects each month and can always see contact details of Job Seekers / Service Providers. Click the Post Project tab from the top menu. Enter as much information as you can — please provide accurate information as this will allow the Service Providers to place correct bids. Click the Submit Project button. Thats all — you will start getting bids for project. You can monitor your project from My Projects tab from the left menu.

How do I contact Service Providers who bid for my project ?
You can monitor your project from My Projects section. You can see the Service Provider contact email along with the bids. You can contact the service providers to get clarifications on the bids. We suggest you award the project through the system as this will be proof the project.

Can I contact Service Providers without posting a project ?
Yes, you can simply search the Resumes put up by Service Providers. To see contact details you should subscribe to Gold member plan. Gold member can post up to 10 Job positions or Projects each month and can always see contact details of Job Seekers / Service Providers. The Resume has a link to contact form — fill in the information and raise a service request. This will be sent to the Service Provider through email and he will contact you directly.

How do I award the project ?
Go to My Projects section. Click the Award link which appears beside your project. Select the Service Provider whom you wish to award the project to and click the Award Project button. An email will be sent to the Service Provider intimating him about the project. You will receive an email once the Service Provider accepts the project.

How do I pay the Service Provider ?
You have to take care of all payments to the Service Provider. CityITjobs is not responsible for the payments and the deliverables. You are advised to work out the details before the project starts with the Service Provider.
